The Los Angeles Opera has announced its streaming slate for the week of June 8, 2020.

The programming will kick off with “Opera Family Time” in which soprano Katherine Powers talks about Shakespeare’s “Othello” with actor/playwright Keith Hamilton Cobb. Powers will also perform the “Willow Song” from Verdi’s “Otello.”

Streaming Date: June 9, 2020, at 2 p.m. PDT 

Tenor Frederick Ballentine and pianist William Woodard join forces for a recital that will celebrate pride month with music traditionally sung by women.

Streaming Date: June 10, 2020, at 4 p.m. PDT

Past Living Room Recitals have featured such artists as Angel Blue, Amanda Woodbury, Alexander Birch Elliot, Rod Gilfry, Morris Robinson, Christopher Maltman, Taylor Raven, Theo Hoffman, Raehann Bryce-Davis, and Lucas Meachem.
