
Karen Cargill Among Soloists for San Diego Symphony’s 2025 Winter/Spring Season

For this article, we will focus on the vocal performances.
The only vocal performance during the season will see conductor Rafael Payare team up with mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill for Mahler’s Symphony No. 3. The concert will showcase Cargill’s debut with the orchestra,
The concert will be presented three times on May 23, 25, and 26, 2025.
The season will also showcase such soloists as Alisa Weilerstein, Alexander Malofeev, Chi-Yuan Chen, Parker van Ostrand, and Paavali Jumppanen, among others. Michael Tilson Thomas, Daniele Rustioni, and Eduardo Strausser are among the conductors for the season.
