Julian Henao Gonzalez Cancels Opera Rara Performances

Opera Rara has announced that Julian Henao Gonzalez’s performances have been canceled.

The company said, “Unfortunately, due to illness Julian Henao Gonzalez’s performances, June 14 and 21 have been cancelled. In place of his performance tomorrow as a part of the Cardiff singer events, join us for a talk about live operatic archaeology.

The concert was part of RWCMD’s program of fringe events which coincide with the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition. Gonzalez was set to perform with pianist James Southall, the Interim Music Director of the David Seligman Opera School at RWCMD.

Henao Gonzalez has performed with Ópera de Colombia, Medellin Opera House, Theater an der Wien, and the Rossini Wildbad Festival among others.
