Joyce El-Khoury has joined the Peace and Prosperity Trust (UK) as a Patron.

The soprano announced the news via social media stating, “I’ve been working closely with the Trust over the last few months, and I’m greatly inspired by them and their mission, and proud of our work together. Over the last 25 years, the Trust has been providing masterclasses, music lessons, and career mentorship to young musicians from the Middle-East and with middle eastern background, including Lebanon, giving them a platform to get onto a firmer musical path. The Trust also stages concerts to provide artists with the opportunity to showcase their abilities, work with globally renowned musicians, and establish themselves on an international stage. Each of these concerts is affiliated with a charity that works towards peace and prosperity in the Middle East.”

Meanwhile, the Peace and Prosperity Trust noted, “We are elated to be working with such an influential artist in the classical music sphere who represents entirely our mission, which is to bridge the gap between Lebanon / the Middle East and the West through the power of music. We cannot wait to see what our collaboration holds in store.”

El-Khoury is a Canadian/Lebanese soprano who has performed at many of the leading theaters in the world including the Teatro Real, Stuttgart Staatsoper, Welsh National Opera, and the Royal Opera House.
