Joshua Blue, Justin Austin, Sarah Mesko & Paul Groves Lead Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ 2024 Season

The Opera Theatre of Saint Louis has announced its 2024 season.

The season opens with Rossini’s The Barber of Seville conducted by Jonathan Brandani and directed by Eric Sean Fogel. The work will star Justin Austin, Hongni Wu, and Nathan Stark.

Performance Dates: May 25-June 29, 2024

Joshua Blue, Katerina Burton, Thomas Glass, and Brittany Renee lead Puccini’s “La Bohème.” Conductor José Luis Gomez leads a production by Michael Shell.

Performance Dates: June 1-30, 2024

Daniela Candillari leads Handel’s “Julius Caesar” with Elkhanah Pulitzer directing. Sarah Mesko, Emily Pogorelc, Key’mon W. Murrah, and Meridian Prall.

Performance Dates: June 9-28, 2024

Philip Glass’ “Galileo Galilei” will be conducted by Kwamé Ryan and directed by James Robinson. Paul Groves will lead an intimate ensemble cast in the role of Older Galileo.

Performance Dates: June 15-29, 2024
