Jonas Kaufmann has postponed his concert in Bratislava on Sept. 8, 2024.

The concert venue said, “The event Jonas Kaufmann & Slovak Philharmonic, which was supposed to take place on 8th September 2024 at 7 pm, is postponed due to health reasons of Mr. Kaufmann for a new date on 4th September 2025 at 7 pm. Tickets remain valid.”

However, those not able to attend the new date can request a refund and must submit an application by Sept. 20, 2024.

Kaufmann was set to perform a gala conducted by Jochen Rieder.

He returns to the stage on Sept. 12 for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl with Diana Damrau and Gustavo Dudamel. This season he also set to celebrate Puccini with his “Viva Puccini” tour with Maria Agresta. He is also set to open the Teatro alla Scala in “La Forza del Destino” with Anna Netrebko.
