Three major opera stars are set to come together this August for two open-air performances of “Tosca” in Graz, Austria.

The showcases, which are scheduled for August 22 and 24, will star Jonas Kaufmann as Cavaradossi, Kristine Opolais in the title role, and Bryn Terfel as Baron Scarpia.

“Singing Puccini with exceptional artists like Bryn and Jonas on stage will be an incredible journey, and I can not wait to start! See you soon, everyone,” said Opolais on her social media channels.

The performances will reunite Opolais and Kaufmann, who first performed together in 2015 in “Manon Lescaut.”

Per OperaBase, Opolais will reprise the role at the Theater an der Wien in 2022 and the Greek National Opera in July. Kaufmann will perform the opera at the Festival Castell de Peralada and the Teatro Real de Madrid this July. Terfel last performed the opera in February 2020 at the Vienna State Opera.
