Jonas Kaufmann & Diana Damrau to Perform During Ibermúsica’s 2021-22 Season

Ibermúsica has announced its 2021-22 season featuring some of the world’s greatest soloists and orchestras.

Diana Damrau and Jonas Kaufmann will perform the only vocal performance. The duo will take on program of Brahms and Schumann alongside pianist Helmut Deutsch. The concert is set for April 7.

The concert marks the latest collaboration between Kaufmann and Damrau who have previously performed Wolf’s lieder together and recorded the works for Erato. During the 2021-22 season, the two will also perform together at the Palau de la Musica Catalana.

The season will also include such renowned artists as Joshua Bell, Nicola Benedetti, Julia Fischer, Alan Gilbert, Daniel Barenboim, Yo-Yo Ma, Leonidas Kavakos, Ton Koopman, Evgeny Kissin, Riccardo Chailly, Antonio Pappano, Marin Alsop, and Kian Soltani.

The season opens on Oct. 26 through May 18.
