Javier Camarena to Perform Recital in Mexico

Javier Camarena returns to Mexico on March 20, 2022, for a recital at the Sala Nezahualcóyotl.

The world renown tenor will sing a program of works by Vicenzo Bellini, Francesco Paolo Tosti, and Franz Liszt. Ángel Rodríguez will accompany on the piano.

The program will open with Three Arietas by Bellini and will be followed by “Four Songs of Amaranta” by Tosti. The program will close with three sonnets by Petrarca by Franz Liszt.

The concert is coordinated by the Difusión Cultural UNAM (CulturaUNAM) and the General Director with Arte & Cultura del Centro Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego.

This season Camarena is set to perform a new production of “Lucia di Lammermoor” at the Metropolitan Opera and will perform recitals at the Dallas Opera, LA Opera, and Opera Naples.
