Renowned tenor Javier Camarena is set to return to LA Opera for a pair of recitals with pianist Angel Rodriguez.

The program will feature French and Italian opera selections, Spanish zarzuela arias, and classic Mexican songs. This performance will mark another collaboration between Camarena and Rodriguez, with the two giving recitals worldwide; they last performed together at LA Opera in 2019, and Camarena made his debut with the company two years prior in the company’s production of “The Pearl Fishers.”

Performances will be held on March 31 and April 2, 2022, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. Patrons are required to provide proof of vaccination, and masks are required at all times within the venue.
