Iván López Reynoso Cleared in Investigation

By Francisco Salazar

Following an investigation regarding a complaint filed against Iván López Reynoso, the Ethics Committee of INBAL concluded that the conductor did not violate any principle, value, or rule of integrity.

The Ethics committee noted that “the complaint did not refer to any type of conduct related to harassment or sexual abuse and was rather related to a disagreement (or disapproval) regarding an expression made in a personal capacity to the complainant.”

The committee also noted that the “complaint was supported by the dancers who came forth but without adding further elements.”

Earlier in May it was reported that López was being investigated following a complaint by a dance member regarding “abuse of power.” López Reynoso responded to the accusations noting that the report was biased and that it was “under investigation by the ethics committee.”
