International Contemporary Ensemble to Present ‘Ensemble Evolution’

The International Contemporary Ensemble, in collaboration with The New School‘s College of Performing Arts, will present “Ensemble Evolution.”

The first performance, scheduled for June 26 at The New School, will feature world premieres by Cleo Reed’s “Reeding Room: The Early Oeuvre” and Sandra Kluge’s “Anything is Everything,” among other works.

The performance will feature Alice Teyssier on voice and flute, Rebekah Heller on bassoon, Nathan Davis on percussion, Sandra Kluge on tap percussion, Fay Victor on voice, Lesley Mok on drums and percussion, Shara Lunon on voice, Dan Lippel on guitar, Eddy Kwon on violin, Wendy Richman on viola, and Lester St. John Louis on cello.

Then on June 29, audiences will hear  compositions by George Lewis, Nicole Mitchell, and Brittany J. Gree, among others. This showcase will feature the International Contemporary Ensemble and “Ensemble Evolution” 2023 Participants.
