Inna Kalugina Headlines Salle Cortot’s February 2025 Programming
By David SalazarUkrainian soprano Inna Kalugina will headline a concert at the Salle Cortot in Paris on Feb. 2, 2025.
The showcase, titled “Le Rossignol et l’Empereur de Chine rencontrent Shchedryk” features the popular Ukrainian song “Shchedryk” alongside music by Bach, Mozart, Kreisler, Gershwin, and Waxman, among others.
Stéphane Friédérich will narrate the evening, which includes pianist Alice Power, alongside several instrumentalists.
Kalugina has performed at the Opéra de Lviv, Opera Cluj Napoça, and at the Opera Studio de l”Académie. She has won several awards at numerous competitions including Concours “Communauté européenne” du Teatro Sperimentale Lirico à Spoleto, Concours international Georges Enesco, and Concours international de chant lyrique de Canari, among others.
