Marcelo Álvarez Headlines Salle Cortot’s January 2025 Programming

Paris’ Salle Cortot has unveiled its January 2025 slate. Here is a rundown of the classical vocal performances on offer.

There will be a “Gala de la voix” featuring performers from the École Normale de Musique de Paris. Performers include Risa Ichikawa, Andrew Zhdanov, Anne-Lise Polcholpek, Kitae Song, Margaux Loire, Fachu Luo, and Inna Kalugina. The program includes works by Offenbach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Verdi, Poulenc Léhar, Catalani, and Gounod, among others.

Performance Date: Jan. 14, 2025

Soprano Marie Oppert and pianist Antoine Préat present a program.

Performance Date: Jan. 16, 2025

Tenor Marcelo Álvarez performs in recital, presenting a program of opera, zarzuela, and Latin American songs.
