Iago Campello is set to join Intermusica as the Associate Artist Manager of Vocal and Opera.

Campello’s role begins on Sept. 2. He will work alongside the new Head of Vocal and Opera Nathan Morrison on a list of singers to be announced over the next few months.

Iago Campello Álvarez is a pianist and artist administrator. At age 12, he launched the Instagram blog @opera_arias, where he interviewed musicians such as Lise Davidsen and Ismael Jordi. In March of 2020, Campello coordinated a virtual festival featuring Roberto Alagna, Amina Edris, Brian Jagde, and Rocio Perez. He previously worked at GoDirect Artists Management, and has worked privately with Lianna Haroutounian, Natalia Labourdette, Channa Malkin, Jean-Fernand Setti, and others.

Before starting his new position at Intermusica, he is scheduled to give a lecture on Early Music at the Slovenian National Institute of Arts and Sciences at the Radovlijca Festival.
