The Japan Performing Arts Foundation has announced the cancelation of the July 6 concert with Sondra Radvanovsky and Brian Jagde.

The company said, “It is with great regret that we announce that Sondra Radvanovsky and Brian Jagde Duo Concert scheduled on 6 July 2024 has been canceled because of Radvanovsky’s withdrawal due to a severe ear infection and sinusitis. We apologize to our valued audience members who have been anticipating the duo concert but appreciate everyone’s kind understanding. A possible postponement will be discussed accordingly with the artist, and it will be announced to the public accordingly.”

Ticket holders will receive a letter or email with ticket details including refund information.

The news comes a day after Radvanovsky canceled her participation in the Royal Opera House’s Japan tour.

The soprano is expected to return to the stage on July 15, 2024, for a concert at the Festival Aix-En-Provence. This summer Jagde sings with the Royal Opera House and the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.
