Intermusica Announces New Leadership

By Francisco Salazar

Intermusica has announced the appointment of Nathan Morrison as Head of Vocal & Opera, effective August 1, 2024.

The appointment will also see Morrison join Intermusica’s Board of Directors.

The company said that after 18 years of spearheading the development of Intermusica’s Vocal & Opera arm and significantly contributing to the company’s international expansion, Julia Maynard decided to relinquish her positions as Head of Department and Deputy Chief Executive.

However, she will remain an integral part of the team as a Director within the department.

In a statement Maynard said, “My time leading the Vocal & Opera team has been the pinnacle of my career, and I have enjoyed every moment, especially mentoring and supporting so many gifted managers along the way. When Stephen Lumsden and I met Nathan Morrison two years ago, we immediately recognized his potential as a future leader in the company. I am delighted to be able to pass on the Head of Department baton, knowing that not only is the department in safe hands but will also have a bold and dynamic future.”

Morrison added, “It is a tremendous privilege to be asked to become Head of Vocal & Opera and to join the Intermusica Board of Directors. I consider it an honor to work with such talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated colleagues, and to have the opportunity to build upon the incredible work that Julia has done over the past 18 years. Intermusica is an exciting and ambitious company, and I look forward to contributing further to its future successes.”
