By David Salazar

Highbridge Voices, a Bronx-based nonprofit dedicated to youth music education, will present its 2026 Annual Benefit Concert on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City.

The evening celebrates more than 28 years of programming and will feature choral performances by Highbridge Voices students alongside two distinguished guest artists. Acclaimed organist Dr. Nathaniel Gumbs, a Bronx native, Director of Music at The Riverside Church, will perform. GRAMMY Award-winning soprano Brittany Renee, who has appeared at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Houston Grand Opera, will serve as both featured artist and co-emcee.

The evening will also honor Perry Notias, Founder and CEO of Notias Construction, for his commitment to the Highbridge community and support of youth opportunity in the Bronx.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Patrick’s Youth Center, followed by the concert at 7 p.m. at the Basilica

Founded in 1998 in a converted parking garage, Highbridge Voices now serves nearly 200 students annually, offering choral and instrumental training, academic enrichment, and college preparation. Ninety percent of its students graduate high school, and over 75% pursue higher education.
