The New York Choral Society is set to showcase soprano Hera Hyesang Park and baritone Jarrett Ott in “Wisdom Sees Light Draw Near,” a concert set to open its 2019-20 season.

The performance, set for Nov. 15, 2019 at St. Bartholomew’s Church, will pair Brahms’ iconic “Ein deutsches Requiem” with Frank Ticheli’s “Until Forever Fades Away.”

The concert marks Ott’s fourth appearance with the ensemble. He is slated to appear with the Staatsoper Stuttgart in productions of “Faust” and “Le Nozze di Figaro.”

Park, who is making her NY Choral debut, is set to appear at the Metropolitan Opera in “Orfeo ed Euridice.”

In addition to “Wisdom Sees a Light Draw Near,” NY Choral will showcase a Christmas concert with music of Pinkham, Rutter, Gjeilo, and Biebl this December. They will also showcase “The Hidden Mass” in March and a Spring Gala in April, followed by “Walk As Children of Light” this coming May.
