Half-Light Productions to Showcase ‘Zombie Opera: CIRCUS’

Half-Light Productions will present “Zombie Opera: CIRCUS” on Oct. 29, 2022.

The third-annual event will take place at Jersey City’s Hamilton Park. Audiences will hear such opera singers as Molly Dunn, Kofi Hayford, and Lindell Carter as they take on music from “Faust,” “La Traviata,” “La Bohème,” “Carmen,” and “Rigoletto,” among others.

Jason Tramm conducts an orchestra made up of musicians from New Jersey City University and the local community. The event will also feature an American Sign Language interpreter.

Catriona Rubenis-Stevens directs the event with a producing team also featuring Jack Halpin, and Teresa Origenes.

“Zombie Opera” is supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund with sponsorship from Sawyer Smith and Silverman as well as Hair is Happiness, Next Step Broadway, and Ward E Councilman James Solomon.
