Guildhall School of Music & Drama Unveils Summer 2025 Slate

Guildhall School of Music & Drama has announced its summer 2025 season. Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

First up is “The Gold Medal,” the final of the school’s prestigious music prize. The vocal soloists include soprano Manon Ogwen Parry, baritone Redmond Sanders and soprano Seohyun Go. Jonathan Stockhammer will conduct the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra in the performance.

The jury features Armin Zanner, Guildhall School’s Vice-Principal & Director of Music; baritone Christopher Maltman; Director of MWA Management Maria Mot; Artistic Director of Dutch National Opera Studio Rosemary Joshua; and soprano Natalya Romaniw.

Performance Date: May 8, 2025

Then comes a production of “Dido and Aeneas.” Oliver Platt directs and James Henshaw conducts.

Performance Date: June 9-16, 2025 (4 performances total)
