
Gerda Lissner Foundation Announces New Board Leadership With Midge Woolsey Assuming Presidency

Michael A. Fornabaio, previously President, assumes the role of Treasurer, while Midge Woolsey has been named President while continuing as Co–Artistic Director. Arlene Shrut has been appointed Vice President and remains Co–Artistic Director; and Karl Michaelis, formerly Treasurer, has been named an Honorary Board Member in recognition of his longstanding service.
Finally, Kenneth Koen, a seasoned executive and legal advisor with more than 30 years of experience in financial and strategic leadership, joins the board as Trustee.
“Serving this Foundation as President has been one of the great privileges of my life,” said Mr. Fornabaio, about his new position. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to supporting our work in this new capacity.” In response, Woolsey noted that “I look forward to honoring Michael Fornabaio’s many accomplishments and continuing to support the next generation of talented young artists.”
