Gerda Lissner Foundation Announces Special Concert at Zankel Hall

The Gerda Lissner Foundation has announced that it will present a special concert in association with The Liederkranz Foundation.

Set for April 30, 2025, the showcase will feature the winners of the Lieder / Song and International Vocal Competitions in 2024 and 2025.

Participants include Magdalena Kuzma, Giorgi Guliashvili, Tatev Baroyan, Sofia Gotch, Shelén Huges, Amanda Batista, Erin Wagner, Michael John Butler, Bridget Esler, and Ashlyn Rock. They are joined by pianist Arlene Shrut and Francesco Barfoed.

Midge Woolsey will host the showcase, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall.

generation of classical singers,” said Michael A. Fornabaio, President of the Gerda Lissner Foundation, per an official press release. “This concert not only honors the incredible talent of our competition winners but also pays tribute to the legendary figures who inspire them. We are thrilled to welcome audiences to experience this unforgettable evening of music.”
