Four independent opera companies in Argentina will join forces to announce their 2019 season on Feb. 19, 2019.

Per a post on social media, the Ensamble Lírico Orquestal, Magna Lírica, Compañía Lírica G. Verdi, and Espacio Victorium will team up in 2019 to co-produce a number of productions. This event is a launchpad for their collaboration and will feature the four directors of each organization; the leaders are Ensamble Lírico’s Cecilia Layseca, Magna Lírica’s Mariana Carnovali, Compañía Lírica’s Adriana Segal, and Espacio Victorium’s Marina Arqueros. The event will also showcase performances from a number of artists from around Buenos Aires.

Magna Lírica recently put on productions of “La Traviata” and “The Magic Flute,” while Ensamble Lírico Orquestal produced “The Barber of Seville.”

Espacio Victorium also took on “The Barber of Seville” and Compañía Lírica G. Verdi staged “Falstaff.”
