Florentine Opera Unveils 2026-27 Season

Florentine Opera announces its 2026-27 season.

Soprano Kathryn Henry gives a solo concert.

Performance Date: July 26, 2026


Baritone Zachary Nelson gives a solo recital.

Performance Date: August 20, 2026


“An Aria Extravaganza” features the Baumgartner Studio Artists.

Performance Date: September 15, 2026


Verdi’s “La Travitata” stars Amanda Woodbury, Dominick Valdés Chenes, Ethan Vincent, Zachary Taylor, Michael Segura, Danielle Casós, and Claire Griffin. Katherine Carter is the stage director. Dr. Benjamin Rivera leads The Florentine Opera Chorus and Kensho Watanabe conducts the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Performance Dates: October 16 & 18, 2026


The Baumgartner Studio Artists and pianist Raphael Chou present “A Celebration in Song.”

Performance Date: December 3, 2026


The Baumgartner Studio Artists and Milwaukee Children’s Choir perform “Carols & Classics.” Raphael Chou accompanies at the piano.

Performance Date: December 10, 2026


Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” is next. Patrick Carfizzi, Joshua Blue, Jasmine Habersham, Lauren Decker, Zachary Taylor, Claire Griffin, Philip Cokorinos, Danielle Casós, and Michael Segura make up the cast. E. Loren Meeker directs. Francesco Milioto conducts the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Performance Dates: March 5 & 7, 2027


The season ends with Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.” Kameron Lopreore, Madison Leonard, Jeni Houser, William Guanbo Su, Charles H.Eaton, Emily Michiko Jensen, Lauryn Nelson, Alissa Anderson, Julius Ahn, Claire Griffin, Kyle Albertson, Zachary Taylor, and Michael Segura perform.

Performance Dates: May 14 & 16, 2027
