Festival Verdi Announces 2026 Operas

The Festival Verdi has announced the operas for its 2026 season.

The festival, which will be celebrated between October 1 and 25, 2026, will showcase the theme of “Mondi lontani,” evoking fascination with the exotic.

The first of the three operas that will be performed is the rarely seen “Alzira” at the Teatro Regio di Parma.

That will be followed by “Aida” at the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi di Busseto.

Performance Dates: TBA

“Nabucco” concludes the season at the Teatro Regio di Parma.

The season will also feature Gala Verdiano, Messa da Requiem, and Ramificazioni, as well as XI Verdi Off.
