Festival de Granada Announces New Director

Spain’s Festival de Granada has announced that Paolo Pinamonti will be its new director.

The board of the Festival de Granada unanimously voted that Pinamonti will take the position on August 1, 2024.

Pinamonti was picked amongst 20 candidates.

Throughout his career, Pinamonti has worked with such organizations as Teatro La Fenice de Venecia, Teatro de la Zarzuela de Madrid, Teatro San Carlos de Lisboa, and Teatro San Carlo. He has also worked for the Festival Mozart de A Coruña and Macerata Opera Festival. Pinamonti is a graduate of Venice University and the Conservatorio de Padua.
