On July 25 the CortinAteatro will present an Hommage to Giuseppe Verdi at the Alexander Girardi Hall di Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.

The concert will celebrate the 120th anniversary of the composer’s death and will showcase operatic selections and narration about the composer. Tenore Fabio Sartori and bass Riccardo Zanellato will perform works from the composers, while Lella Costa will perform dramatic monologues.

The program will include the Overture from “Giovanna D’Arco;” “Come dal ciel precipita” from “Macbeth;” “Ella giammai m’amò” from “Don Carlo;” and “Francesco! Mio figlio!” from “I Masnadieri.” There will also be selections from music by Arrigo Boito and Giacomo Puccini.

The Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta will be conducted by the young and promising conductor Gerardo Felisatti.
