Premiere
Andrea Szántó stars in Calixto Bieto’s new production of Bizet’s “Carmen.” The opera also features Szabolcs Brickner , Kinga Kriszta, Gábor Bretz , and Zoltá Nagy . Balázs Kocsár conducts.

Beethoven/Strauss’ “König Stephan / Die Ruinen von Athen” is set to star Dezső Kosztolányi, Mihály Babits, and Sándor Sík.

László Boldizsár star in a new production of Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann.” Klára Kolonits sings the four heroines alongside Péter Kálmán who sings the four villains and Viktória Mester who sings The Muse. Gergely Kesselyák conducts the new production by Kriszta Székely. The production will also star Réka Piroska Jónás as Olympia, Lilla Horti as Antonia, Zsuzsanna Ádám as Giuletta, and Bernáth Éva as Stella.

Csaba Polgár directs a new production of Donizetti’s “La Fille du Regiment.” Rita Rácz and Zita Szemere star in the title role alongside Gergely Boncsér and István Horváth as Tonio, Atala Schöck and Mária Farkasréti as Marquise Berkenfield, and András Palerdi and Marcell Bakonyi as Suplice.

István Kovácsházi and Peter Seiffert sing the title role in Wagner’s “Parsifal.” The two star alongside Michele Kalmandy, István Rácz, András Palerdi, Károly Szemerédy, and Andrea Szántó. The new production will be directed by András Almási-Tóth and conducted by Balázs Kocsár.

Wagner’s “Götterdämmerung” is set to star István Kovácsházi, Szilvia Rálik, Károly Szemerédy, Lilla Horti, Géza Gábor, Levente Molnár, and Andrea Szántó. Balázs Kocsár conducts the final opera of the Ring Cycle with Géza M. Tóth directing.
