The Morgan Library & Museum will present a recital featuring mezzo-soprano Erin Wagner on April 24, 2025.

The showcase, which kicks off at 12 p.m. and has a duration of one hour, will feature the mezzo as she takes Dominick Argento’s “From the Diary of Virginia Woolf” and Mahler’s “Rückert-Lieder.”

Wagner is a Naumburg Vocal Award Winner and Houston Grand Opera Butler Studio Artist who has performed with such organizations as Sparks and Wiry Cries, the Aspen Music Festival, The Kennedy Center, and The Kaufman Center. She is a Merola Opera Program member and a Juilliard Graduate.

In addition to her commitments with Young Concert Arts, in 2024, she performed with the New York Festival of Song and appeared as Kate Pinkerton in Houston Grand Opera’s production of “Madama Butterfly” and that same company’s “Parsifal.”

The concert is presented in partnership with Young Concert Artists.
