Eric McKeever, Daniel Klein, Mary-Hollis Hundley, Sara Kennedy, Michael Boley, Oswaldo Iraheta to Headline little OPERA theatre of ny’s ‘Zemlinskys Zimmer / Zemlinsky’s Room’
By David SalazarThe little OPERA theatre of ny will present “Zemlinskys Zimmer / Zemlinsky’s Room” this June.
From June 5-8, 2025, the chamber opera in three parts that centers on a love triangle and murder, will take the stage of the BAM Fisher in Brooklyn, NY.
The opera stars Eric McKeever, Daniel Klein, Mary-Hollis Hundley, Sara Kennedy, Michael Boley, and Oswaldo Iraheta. Tiffany Chang conducts and Philip Shneidman directs. The Lighting & Scenic Designer will be Seth Reiser, projection designer will be Kylee Loera, and costume designer will be Lara de Bruijn.
The performance will feature a German translation by Max Meyerfeld as well as poems by Richard Dehmel and Ferdinand Gregorovius. Roland Freisitzer provides new chamber orchestrations.
The performance will have a running time of 85 minutes.
