Filipino-American bass-baritone Enrico Lagasca will serve as a soloist in American Classical Orchestra’s season finale at the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center on May 18.

The program consists of Romantic music by Rossini, Schumann, Sarasate, and Grieg all played on period instruments. Lagasca, who recently received critical acclaim for his role as Daedalus in the U.S. premiere of Jonathan Dove’s opera “The Monster in the Maze,” will sing in the final piece, “The Mountain Thrall” by Grieg.

Also on the program is Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient violinist Rachell Ellen Wong and a presentation by founder and Artistic Director Thomas Crawford who will also conduct.

Lagasca will finish his 2022-23 season in Tyshawn Sorey’s “Monochromatic Light (afterlight)” directed by Peter Sellers.
