On Dec. 3, 2021, The English National Opera held a Relaxed Performance of “HMS Pinafore.”

The performance was specifically for anyone who benefits from a more relaxed environment. This included anyone with dementia, an autism spectrum condition, sensory and communication disorders, or learning disability.

Throughout the performance, audiences were free to make noise, leave and enter the auditorium as they pleased, or access toilets or chill-out areas during the performance.

The company announced that the next relaxed performance will be held on Feb. 26, 2022 for a performance of “The Cunning Little Vixen.”

Tickets will be allocated by English National Opera on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Once the company receives an application, it will be in touch within 10 working days to confirm whether the booking request has been successful.
