The third edition of the Pozzallo all’Opera nel Mondo has announced a gala performance on August 1, 2021.
The Italian Festival will showcase a performance at the Villa Tedeschi with Artistic Director tenor Enea Scala headlining the evening.
He will be joined by soprano Marigona Qerkezi, mezzo-soprano Raffaella Lupinacci, and baritone Carmelo Corrado Caruso. Dario Tondelli will accompany the soloists at the piano and Carmen Attardi will host the evening.
The performance is part of the festival which is celebrating its third year. This year the theme of the event is “La Patria,” which is celebrating the 160th anniversary of Italy’s unity. The festival showcases music of all genres from classical to Italian song to jazz and pop.
