Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble to Present ‘Beloveds – Amados’
By David SalazarDell’Arte Opera Ensemble has announced the latest concert in its Garden Recital series.
“Beloveds – Amados,” which will take place on July 10 at 11 a.m. at the Fort Tryon Park in New York City, will star Luisamaria Hernandez and Geddy Warner. The two singers will be accompanied by pianist and Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble Music Director Chris Fecteau.
Hernandez will perform songs by Cecille Chaminade, Richard Strauss, Hahn, and “Escuchame” from Catán’s “Florencia en el Amazonas.”
Meanwhile, Geddy will take on songs by Finzi, Bridge, Kohn, Obradors, Ponce, Velasquez, Lili Boulanger, and “Vainement, ma bien aimee” from Lalo’s “Le Roi d’Ys.”
