
Davóne Tines Headlines New World Symphony’s 2026 I Dream A World Festival

The New World Symphony announces its line up for its 2026 I Dream a World Festival, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Soprano Kristin Young and bass-baritone Davóne Tines open the festival with “Salon: I, Too, Sing America: Langston Hughes & Margaret Bonds.”
Performance Date: February 18, 2026 (Truist Pavilion)
“I, Too, Sing America: Langston Hughes & Margaret Bonds” is presented again by soprano Kristin Young and bass-baritone Davóne Tines.
Performance Date: February 19, 2026 (Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater)
Closing out the festival is “Anthem” presented by bass-baritone Davóne Tines and the Florida Memorial University Ambassador Chorale. These concerts features Jessie Montgomery’s “Banner” and Margaret Bonds’ “The Montgomery Variations.” Kalena Bovell conducts.
