Dashon Burton, Mei Gui Zhang, Taylor Raven, Eric Ferring Headline New Jersey Symphony’s All-Choral Concert

The New Jersey Symphony is set to return to New Jersey Performing Arts Center for an all-choral program on April 16 and 18, 2026.

The showcase will be conducted by Xian Zhang and features Mozart’s “Requiem,” Mahler’s “Songs of a Wayfarer,” and Fauré’s “Pavane.” Bass-baritone Dashon Burton, soprano Mei Gui Zhang, mezzo-soprano Taylor Raven, and tenor Eric Ferring are the soloists for the Mozart; Burton is the soloist for the Mahler.

The Montclair State University Chorale, under the direction of Heather J. Buchanan, also performs.

The April 16 concert kicks off at 1:30 p.m. local time while the showcase on the 18th gets a 7:30 p.m. start time.
