The Oxford International Song Festival has announced its 2024 season lineup.
Baritone Roderick Williams and pianist Natalie Burch open the Festival with Schubert’s “Schwanengesang.”

Soprano Carolyn Sampson and pianist Joseph Middleton present a works by Robert and Clara Schumann.
Performance Date: October 12, 2024
Dame Sarah Connolly and Joseph Middleton present Mahler’s “Rückert Lieder,” along with songs by Brahms, Debussy, Bridge, Moeran, Gurney, and Ireland.
Performance Date: October 13, 2024
Tenor Christoph Prégardien along with the Festival’s Artistic Director Sholto Kynoch give a concert featuring pieces by Schubert and Schumann.

Commissioned for this year’s Festival, Indian- American composer Reena Esmail’s settings of Sanskrit verses from the “Bhagavad Gita,” is presented by contralto Jess Dandy and pianist Keval Shah.
