Corey Hable & Jacqueline Piccolino Join Athlone Artists

I can’t wait to see the quick rise of this emerging artist! And soprano Jaqueline Piccolino has one of those lush and warm soprano voices that reminds you of the great divas of the past. But she brings her own artistic brilliance into everything she sings.”
Countertenor Hable is recognized for his “rich, Italianate sound” and has performed with the Dream Orchestra of Los Angeles, the Saluzzo Opera Academy, the La Jolla Music Society, and San Luis Obispo’s Bach Week. He was a Finalist in the 2024 Annual Opera Ithaca Edward M. Murray International Competition of Voice, a District Winner in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in 2022, a finalist in the Palm Springs Opera Guild Competition and a semi-finalist in the Pasadena Vocal Competition in 2022, 2023, and 2024. He currently studies with soprano Jennifer Rowley.
Soprano Piccolino is a San Francisco Opera Adler Fellowship and Merola Program alum and a National Semi-Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She recently debuted with Portland Opera and has performed with the Seattle Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. She was a Studio Artist program at Wolf Trap Opera Company and part of Napa Festival del Sole’s Bouchaine Young Artist Concert Series. She also participated in Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy.
Piccolino was named a National Semi-Finalist in the 2021 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and has won awards from the Partners for the Arts Inc. Competition, American Opera Society of Chicago, Opera Awards Foundation, The American Prize in Vocal Performance, the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, the Musicians Club of Women in Chicago, and the International Stanisław Moniuszko Competition.
