If you’re looking for a safe way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, join composer/pianist Felix Jarrar and soprano Samantha Nahra as they present “She’s So Lucky: A St. Patrick’s Day Liederabend.” The showcase begins at 8:00 P.M. EDT on March 17.

Each song will be presented as a music video and paired with a gluten-free drink to celebrate the beauty of music and the mirth of the day from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Jarrar’s pieces and their pairings by Nahra are “I wake up” (Irish coffee); “Red is self-love” (sour cherry mead), “Rainbow song” (Giggle Jelly Shot from the “Unicorn Food” cookbook); “Bobby” (Nahra’s craft-mead cocktail “Triple Old Fashioned”); and “Love me like a dog” (Nahra’s signature cocktail, “The Rocky”).

When not on stage, Nahra doubles as a cooking show host in her YouTube series, “A Dramatic Soprano Tries Cooking,” The evening’s drink recipes are posted on her channel.

Felix Jarrar is a composer/pianist who has performed at such venues as Symphony Space, (le) Poisson Rouge, BAM’s Fisher Hillman Studio, and Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. His works have been performed internationally by artists from the Metropolitan Opera, the Atlantic Music Festival Orchestra, and the duo Unassisted Fold.
