OperaVision has revealed its upcoming slate for late April and May 2024.

First up is Garsington Opera’s “Ariadne auf Naxos” from June 18, 2023. The opera stars Natalya Romaniw, Young Woo Kim, Jennifer France, and Polly Leech.

Streaming Dates: April 26 – Oct. 26, 2025

Next up is Lviv National Opera’s “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” from Mach 7, 2023. The opera stars Anastasiia Bondar and Arsen Marusenko. Yurii Bervetski conducted the performance that was directed by Vasyl Vovkun.

Streaming Dates: April 29 – Oct. 29, 2025

Then comes the Scottish Opera’s “The Gondoliers” from 2021. Stuart Maunder directed the production that was conducted by Derek Clark.

Streaming Dates: May 4- August 4, 2024

Audiences will get a chance to see the April 9, 2024 performance of “La Sonnambula” from the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma” starring Lisette Oropesa, John Osborn, and Roberto Tagliavini. Francesco Lanzillotta conducted and Jean-Philippe Clarac and Olivier Deloeuil “Le LAB” directed.

Streaming Dates: May 10 – Nov. 10, 2024

From the Teatro Real de Madrid comes the live stream of “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” with a cast starring Gerald Finley, Jongmin Park, Leigh Melrose, and Nicole Chevalier, among others. Pablo Heras-Casado conducts a production by Laurent Pelly.

Streaming Dates: May 18 – Nov. 18, 2024

Then comes the May 17, 2024 production of “Tosca” from the Teatro Regio di Parma. The Puccini classic stars Anastasia Bartoli, Brian Jagde, and Luca Salsi. Daniel Oren conducts a production directed by Joseph Franconi Lee.
