Cleveland Opera Theater to Present ‘Good Tidings We Bring’ Concert

By David Salazar

Cleveland Opera Theater will present “Good Tidings We Bring: An Evening of Song” on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020.

The event, which can be streamed online starting at 7 p.m. on the company’s official website, will feature the Cleveland Opera Theater Carolers as they read holiday stories and engage in some holiday favorites. There will also be special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

“We’re trying to do our part to encourage families to stay home and stay safe this holiday season,” says Megan Thompson, Cleveland Opera Theater’s Director of Education and Engagement. “This event is a chance to put on your p.j.s, make some hot cocoa, and reconnect with each other.”

This is the latest holiday offering by the Cleveland Opera Theater following the company’s stream of “Amahl and the Night Visitors” on Dec. 17.
