The Santa Fe Pro Musica continues its tradition of Baroque Holy Week concerts on historical instruments. This year soprano Clara Rottsolk performs music by women composers.

Rottsolk is joined by violinist Stephen Redfield, harpsichordist David Solem, and the Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble. Composers featured on the concert include Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Antonia Bembo, Julie Pinel, and Mademoiselle Duval. The program highlights the voices of women from the French court of the Sun King, Louis XIV (1638–1715). King XVI was known to employ the very best French writers, artists, craftsmen, and more than 200 musicians including women.

The First Presbyterian Church host the concerts on March 23 at 7:30 p.m. and March 24 at 3 p.m. Prior to the matinée performance, the Discovery Series takes place at Nüart Gallery at 10 am. This event features a conversation and performance by the artists.
