Chelsea Music Festival Unveils 2024 Program

The Chelsea Music Festival has unveiled its program, “Connecting the Dots” for 2024.

Here is a rundown of the vocal performances on offer.

Baritone Daniel Gutmann and pianist Maximilian Kromer headline “Patitucci & Friends” at High Line Nine.

Performance Date: June 24, 2024

Gutmann and Kromer also perform lieder by Schumann in “Midsummer Night Magic” at Czech Center. The showcase features selections from The Lee Trio’s new album and a performance of the Dumky Piano Trio by Dvorák.

Performance Date: June 25, 2024

Soprano Marisa Karchin and pianist Robert Fleitz perform music by Ania Vu in a concert that also includes other chamber ensembles and works by Fauré, Smetana, and a world premiere by Jacob Beranek. The program, titled “Complete Resonances,” takes place at the Czech Center.

Performance Date: June 26, 2024

Karchin returns for “Reimagined Gems,” alongside trumpet player Caleb Hudson. The showcase also features the Harlem Quartet in works by Caroline Shaw and Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel.
