Château de Versailles Spectacles Unveils May / June 2024 Performances

Château de Versailles Spectacles has announced its schedule for the month of May and June.

First up is a new production of Mozart’s “Die Entführung auf dem Serail.”

The production will be directed by Michel Fau and Sofiène Remadi and is conducted by Gaétan Jarry.

The cast is headlined by Mathias Vidal as Belmonte and Florie Valiquette as Constance. Gwendoline Blondeel stars as Blonde and Enguerrand de Hys is Pedrillo. Rounding out the cast as Michel Fau as Selim Bassa and Nicholas Brooyans as Osmin. The opera will be presented in French.

Performance Dates: May 22-26, 2024

Then comes Mozart’s Grand Messe en Ut Mineur with Siobhan Stagg, Marie Perbost, David Fischer, and Jean-Gabriel Saint-Martin as the soloists. Case Scaglione conducts.

Performance Dates: May 26, 2024

Gianluca Capuano conducts “Giulio Cesare” with Cecilia Bartoli, Carlo Vistoli, Sara Mingardo, Max Emanuel Cencic, José Coca Loza, and Kangmin Justin Kim as the soloists.

Performance Dates: June 6, 2024

Then comes a concert featuring “Dido and Aeneas” and Vivaldi’s “Gloria.” For the Vivaldi, soloists include Théo Imart and Nicolò Balducci. Stefan Plewniak conducts and Nicolas Briançon directs.

Performance Dates: June 29 & 30, 2024
