Theater Bremen Announces 2024-25 Season

Theater Bremen has announced its 2024-25 season.

Premieres

Wagner’s “Lohengrin” will be conducted by Stefan Klingele and directed by Frank Hilbrich.

Performance Dates: Sept. 15-Dec. Dec. 1, 2024

“Der 35. Mai” by Erich Kästner and Martin G. Berger will be conducted by Stefan Klingele and Martin G. Berger.

Performance Dates: Oct. 20, 2024-Jan. 26, 2025

Puccini’s “La Bohème” will get a new production by Alize Zandwijk and conducted by Sasha Yankevych.

Performance Dates: Nov. 30, 2024-March 5, 2025

Armin Petras directs Schubert’s “Winterreise.”

Performance Date: Dec. 7, 2024

The Silver Konzert “SING, SING, SING!” will be performed to ring in the New Year.  Stefan Klingele conducts.

Performance Date: Dec. 31, 2024

Berlioz’s “Béatrice et Bénédict” will be directed by Susanne Lietzow and conducted by Stefan Klingele.

Performance Dates: Feb. 9-March 22, 2025

Sasha Yankevych conducts Verdi’s “Otello” in a new production by Frank Hilbrich.

Performance Dates: April 13-May 16, 2025

Elmar Lampson’s “Wellen” will be conducted by Yoel Gamzou and directed by Philipp Rosendahl.

Performance Dates: May 24-June 18, 2025

NOPERAS!” is the final production of the season.

Performance Date: July 4, 2025

The season will include three family concerts.

Performances Dates: Dec. 8,  2024, Feb. 16, March 23, 2025

Repertoire 

Prokofiev’s “The Love for Three Oranges” will conducted by Sasha Yankevych.

Premiere Date: Oct. 6, 2024

John Lennon-Liederabend’s “Imagine” will be conducted by Yoel Gamzou.

Premiere Date: Oct. 23, 2024

“Zählen und Erzählen” will return in a production by Sarah Weinberg.

Premiere Date: Jan. 17, 2025

Strauss’ “Salome” will be conducted by Stefan Klingele.

Premiere Date: March 14, 2025

“Hello, Dolly!” will be conducted by William Kelley.

Premiere Date: June 1, 2025
