Cathedral of St. John the Divine to Stream Weekly Concert Series

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine will present a weekly series of streamed musical concerts, beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

The concerts, featuring members of the Cathedral’s music department, will be streamed from the Cathedral’s Facebook page and YouTube channel; the showcase will also be available on the Cathedral’s website.

The first concert, “Improvisations from Ipswich,” will feature artist-in-residence David Briggs, and will stream on May 26, 2020, at 6:00 pm. Details on upcoming concerts will be made known in subsequent weeks.

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is the head of the Episcopal Diocese of New York, and holds a number of liturgical and choral events, with their choir, chorale, and “Great Music in a Great Space” series, among others.
