On May 27, Sir Bryn Terfel will perform for the first time in Mexico.

The bass-baritone will perform alongside the Sinfónica de Minería with Roberto Kalb conducting at the Sala Nezahualcóyotl del Centro Cultural Universitario.

The first part of the concert will showcase pieces from Wagner’s “Die Walküre” and “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.” The second half will include arias by Giacomo Puccini, Georges Bizet, Jacques Offenbach, Charles Gounod, and Arrigo Boito.

There will also be traditional songs from Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

This season, Terfel is set to perform at the Zurich Opera House, Wiener Staatsoper, and Verbier Festival, among others.
