Beth Morrison Projects Earns Major Financial Award from Andrew W. Mellon Foundation

Beth Morrison Projects (BMP) was given a major award by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The award will provide BMP with awarded $485,000 to identify and promote the next generation of creative arts producers and managers and offer support the company.

“With this grant we will be able to expand our reach and help future leaders in our industry realize their full potential. In the wake of the pandemic, generated by covid-19, it is urgent to create and strengthen the BMP infrastructure to consolidate the next generation of artists and art administrators,” said Beth Morrison, founder of BMP, in an official statement.

Going forward, BMP will establish three scholarships for alumni, furthering students’ learning through a year of hands-on training and mentoring; BMP will offer full scholarships for 25 students in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

BMP will also be able to fully fund the hiring of a part-time program coordinator.
