LA Opera and The Wallis will present tenor Ben Bliss in recital with pianist Bryan Wagorn on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, in Beverly Hills.

The program will include European and American art songs, arias by Tchaikovsky and Massenet, and popular standards by Sammy Fain, Stephen Sondheim, and Benny Goodman.

Bliss, a former member of LA Opera’s Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program from 2011-13, has become one of today’s leading lyric tenors, performing at the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Paris Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Bavarian State Opera, and Glyndebourne Festival, as well as with the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and San Francisco Symphony.

At LA Opera he performed in productions of “The Magic Flute” in 2016 and was the tenor soloist in the “St. Matthew Passion” in 2022.
